There are so many days a year it should snow. And the 2014 winter has far exceeded the limit.
Thankfully I have this house to keep me busy and away from the windows where the snow can be seen.
I was trying to avoid the view, but it was next on the list. One of my dear friends made curtains for the kitchen windows. Believe me, it was an emergency. The previous owners left beige Roman curtains over the windows. Can we say “ace bandage”? If they weren’t such a drab color, I probably wouldn’t have an issue with them. But the walls are yellowish and to have beige curtains just made it look…nasty.
So up went the new curtains…and another view of the white stuff outdoors.
Even though there are many more windows to go, at least the one room I am in the most now has pleasant window dressings. Everything else….*shivers*…is just wrong.
